I am walking for Team Little Luke

2025 is the 9th year my family is taking on the Walk for Kids with Cancer (formerly the Bob "Tug" Wilson walk) and I'm attempting to raise $1,500.

Our story began in 2016 when my youngest son, Luke, was just 10 weeks old when he was diagnosed with a rare but extremely aggressive rhabdoid tumour in his spine. Despite surgery and other cancer treatments, he battled like a trooper but lost his fight later that year at the age of 6 months.

The staff at Westmead Children's Hospital provided amazing care and above and beyond support for me, my wife and eldest son, who was just 3 years of age at the time. 

Our walk each year aims to support the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation and help power cancer research into new treatments and trials. It also helps fund state-of-the-art medical equipment, and programs like music therapy to keep the kids' spirits up when they're in hospital. No child should ever have to go through cancer, but those who do, deserve our all. Thank you for your support.
