We are walking for kids with cancer

The kids and I are walking for Mackie and all kids with cancer on Sunday 23 March 2025 for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF). Funds raised from Walk for Kids with Cancer will go directly to the frontline of children’s healthcare across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, including the Kids Cancer Centre at Randwick and the Cancer Centre for Children at Westmead.

It is incredibly hard to think about what Mackie had to deal with over the six years of treatment with not only living with the effects of numerous rounds of  chemotherapy, radiation and physical rehabilitation whilst being left a paraplegic after the surgery to move the cancerous tumour. The Children’s Hospital became part of our family for those years.  

No child should ever go through cancer and I will never stop raising funds to ensure those kids get the best possible treatments available.
