I am walking for kids with cancer so they survive and thrive
I am walking for kids with cancer on Sunday 23 March 2025 in memory and in honour of my son Toby who was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer when he was 12yrs old.
Toby was brave and courageous, he was funny and full of life, he was gentle and kind and after 20 months of grueling treatment he died aged 14.
We met kids, too many with cancer; many survived and are thriving, some are still suffering long term effects of treatment and sadly too many died.
Raising funds makes a difference!!! Raising funds enables groundbreaking research that will save and improve the quality of life for survivors. Sydney Children's Hospital is amazing, the level of care and commitment is next level.

Funds raised from Walk for Kids with Cancer will go directly to the frontline of children’s healthcare across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, including the Kids Cancer Centre at Randwick and the Cancer Centre for Children at Westmead.
Together we can help find answers to rare diseases like childhood cancer, faster ways to diagnose, support clinical trials, help build clinical and patient family-centered spaces in hospitals, and create positive patient experiences for kids and their families.
No child should ever go through cancer but those who do deserve our all.
